The WNE division of WITH US was founded in 2015 under the initiative of Marc Laevens. During a trip to Armenia in 2014, while searching for investment opportunities, he discovered Armenian wine—a treasure that was still largely unknown in Belgium and Europe at the time. Although Armenia is one of the historical cradles of viticulture, wine production had been almost abandoned during the Soviet era. It wasn't until the 2000s that the country began to revive this ancestral tradition. Fascinated by the potential and authenticity of Armenian wines, Marc Laevens decided to introduce them beyond the borders, thus laying the foundations for the Wine division of WITH US.
