DRY RED WINE – TRINITY CROSSROADS 2022
This balanced red blend combines Areni (50%), Syrah (30%) and Merlot (20%) grown in the volcanic soils of Aghavnadzor (Vayots Dzor, Armenia). Harvested at full ripeness — Syrah and Merlot in September, Areni in late October — the grapes are fermented whole in stainless steel, followed by extended maceration. With no oak ageing, this wine reveals a pure expression of fruit and terroir.
It displays a deep ruby color and an elegant bouquet of ripe black berries, with notes of black pepper and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is well-structured with ripe, fine tannins, lively acidity, and a long, lingering finish. Cultivated at 1300 m elevation under a continental climate, it pairs perfectly with grilled salmon, vegetable pasta, and soft cheeses. Best enjoyed now or within 5 years, with peak expression in 1 to 2 years.
